Tamil Nadu Forest Uniformed Services Recruitment Council (TNFUSRC) will be issuing the admit cards for the post of Forest Watcher by tomorrow, i.e September 27, 2019 at the website, The online test of TN forest watcher is scheduled to be held on three dates October 4, 2019, October 5, 2019, and October 6, 2019.

To download the admit cards of Forest Watcher, candidates will have to login with their application number and password. On submitting the details, the admit cards will get generated on the computer screen. Candidates will have download and take a print out of the admit card and bring it on the exam day.

During the exam day, candidates must positively carry a print of the hall ticket, along with a valid photo identity proof of either PAN card / Passport / ration card / voter id card. Candidates are advised to visit the allotted exam center one day in advance so that they can prioritize the time in order to reach the exam venue. Electronic gadgets, eatables will not be allowed to carry in the exam center.

TNFUSRC forest watcher exam will be a online computer based test. It will contain 150 multiple choice questions from Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Current Event, Geography, History and culture of India and Tamil Nadu, Indian Polity, Indian Economy, India National Movement, Aptitude and mental ability test. The respective number of questions are – 15, 15, 15, 15, 20, 10, 15, 10, 10, 10, 15.

After the examination, TNFUSRC will declare the results based on merit. Candidates need to qualify with 40% marks or 30 % in case of OBC candidates. Those who clears the examination, will be further called for selection process, which consists of document verification, physical qualification and endurance test.

During document verification round, candidates have to produce an evidence of date of birth certificate, character certificate, academic qualifications, community certificate and no objection certificate.

To pass in the physical qualification test, the male candidates need to have a height of 163 cm, 79 cm bust, and 5 cm bust on expansion. While the female and Transgender candidates need to have a height of 150 cm, 74 cm bust and 5 cm bust on expansion. ST and jungle tribe male candidates need to have a height of 152 cm, 79 cm bust and 5 cm bust on exasperation. ST and jungle tribe female candidates need to have a height of 145 cm, 74 cm bust and 5 cm bust on expansion.

Those who qualifies in the physical test, will have to undergo endurance test of 4 hours in which candidate have walk a distance of 25 km and female and transgender candidates have to walk a distance of 16 km.

A total of 564 vacancies will be filled up through the forest watcher recruitment, out of which 465 will be filled up in forest watcher, and 99 in forest watcher (earmarked to ST youths from specified districts only).
